Ama was born and raised within the settlement found at the forgotten springs in southern thanalan. Losing her mother to a bomb explosion that an ignorant adventurer set off as they were essentially toying with it. It was at that time that Ama discovered her affinity for water as she tried to douse the flames that had engulfed the area around the exit to the springs where the more grassier terrain is. With pain and anger she charged the adventurer only to be stopped by her aunt that was nearby when the explosion happened. After that day she immersed herself in study and training. When she turned 21 she set off from the village as an adventurer her first encounter with a dungeon came from tam tara deepcroft as her and her party went inside the sheer numbers of voidsent and undead outnumbered them greatly with no way to escape and them being sealed inside ama went further and further down slicing, drowning and freezing her way through the low level dungeon dragging the corpses of her party as they were slain near the middle of the dungeon. Finally arriving under the hatched caccoon she made a deal with the voidsent within for the corpses and half of her aether in exchange to gain the abilities of the void while gaining a stronger affinity with water and ice in return. Ama agreed to this allowing the souls and corpses to be taken by the demon the demon turns its attention to her. As there claws grasp into one another her body began to change while a portal opened up nearby as an orb floated through merging with Ama making her forever changed.
